it's a comedic love story about a 29-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl. yes, i know it sounds bad, i was skeptical at first but it not only challenged my beliefs, but ugh, it's such an adorable manga and i have a lot of feelings and just... /dies. i went on a bit about it in this journal here [link].

i did the sketch and line art like three weeks back, but didn't paint or finish it till just the other day. i'm not entirely happy with it, which really sucks, because i really love this manga so much and wanted to draw something that did it justice. so i'll probably have to draw a better fanart later.

i had a lot of trouble with scanning, as usual. the crappy excuse for a background looks even crappier than usual. i can never get my watercolours to look decent on the computer and i'm considering whether it's just better to take a photo. sigh.

oh, by the way, this is my 100th deviation!! whoa. i can't believe it's been 6 years here, although i was pretty much inactive for the first three, haha.
